While in the PDF datasheet Ron is only shown @ 10V or 4.5V and at room temperature, Renesas VP interactive datasheet allows to enter both a voltage and temperature values. Using remote simulation a custom datasheet is generated in seconds without the need for extensive lab test. |

| Renesas VP Buck Converter Designer supports users finding quickly the right MOSFETs for a variety of applications from computing to mobile devices. By answering on a few questions the user can choose from a number of MOSFET pairs and receives a completely configured buck converter design for a generic voltage mode PWM controller. Using remote simulation the user can test and evaluate the converter design on a virtual test bench - both in terms of system level performance (loop gain, crossover frequency, load step response) as in terms of switching behavior in steady state. |

For users with restricted access to simulation technology Renesas VP offline provides a full featured simulation package, which can be installed on the user's computer. Both the system level and switching level schematics can be downloaded, readily configured for immediate simulation and analysis. |

Once a design has been completed users can download their design in form of an Excel spreadsheet and print a comprehensive design summary including design requirements, schematics, simulation waveforms and product information. The user also can save all information at a secure server location as a starting point for their next design. |
