Product Overview

This demonstration kit allows you to witness the graphic performance of the H8S MCU driving a 5.7" QVGA color TFT-LCD panel. A resistive touch screen is mounted on the panel, and the installed demonstration program makes use of it to illustrate the function of buttons an slider bars.

Included are the power supply, TFT-LCD panel cabling, and an RS-232 cable for reprogramming the Flash memory in the MCU.

A 60-day full license to the High-performance Embedded Workbench (HEW) is included, enabling you to modify and recompile the demonstration program for your own test and development.

All source code is available on the included CD for the demonstration program, and the Renesas graphics library and API. You can edit this to create your own simple Graphic User Interface using buttons, sliders, bitmaps, text, and shapes with gradient color.

For full debugging capability, the E10A USB/JTAG emulator cable must be purchased separately.
